[ERA-NET][FWO] ERA-MIN-3 2023: Needs-driven research on non-fuel, non-food raw materials.

De nieuwe oproep spreekt vijf hoofdtopics aan:

  • Topic 1. Supply of raw materials from exploration and mining
  • Topic 2. Circular Design
  • Topic 3. Processing, Production and Remanufacturing
  • Topic 4. Recycling and Re-use of End-of-Life Products
  • Topic 5. Cross-cutting topics: proposals that address all innovations, also non-technological, to support for the transformation to a circular economy.

Deadline voor indiening onderzoeksvoorstellen (1-stapsprocedure): 30 maart 2023, 17u CET (Brussel)

  • FWO-deelname en -financiering richt zich hier zowel tot het fundamenteel- (‘FO’) als het financieringskanaal Strategisch Basisonderzoek (SBO). 
  • Het FWO ondersteunt 1 Vlaams (sub)project binnen een internationaal samengesteld consortium, voor max. 350.000 EUR (inclusief overhead), voor 36 maanden.  

Onderzoekers wordt sterk aangeraden om het FWO voor indiening te contacteren omtrent de ontvankelijkheidscriteria. Dit om de onontvankelijkheid van de Vlaamse onderzoeker(s) individueel, en het consortium als geheel, te vermijden.

Gelieve het projectbudget 5 werkdagen voor indiening voor te leggen aan vlaams-federaal@ugent.be

This new call addresses the following 5 main topics:

  • Topic 1. Supply of raw materials from exploration and mining
  • Topic 2. Circular Design
  • Topic 3. Processing, Production and Remanufacturing
  • Topic 4. Recycling and Re-use of End-of-Life Products
  • Topic 5. Cross-cutting topics: proposals that address all innovations, also non-technological, to support for the transformation to a circular economy.

Deadline for proposal submission (one-step procedure): 30 March 2023, 17h CET (Brussels)

  • Both the FWO fundamental (FO) and Strategic Basic Research (SBO) funding channels are integrated within this multilateral call. 
  • The FWO is able to support 1 project for a 3 years duration, with an available maximum applicable budget of 350.000 EUR (overhead included) per project/consortium. 

Researchers are strongly encouraged to contact the FWO before submission, in view of the eligibility criteria, and in order to avoid the ineligibility of a researcher, and the project consortium as a whole.

Please send the project budget to vlaams-federaal@ugent.be 5 working days before submission.
