De Eos Pipet bekroont een jonge, beloftevolle onderzoeker die in Vlaanderen actief is. Met deze award wil het wetenschapsblad, in samenwerking met de Jonge Academie, wetenschap en technologie op een positieve manier onder de aandacht van het grote publiek brengen. In 2026 wordt de dertiende Pipet uitgereikt.
De POWER bekroont een beloftevolle onderzoeker die in Vlaanderen actief is rond geestelijke gezondheid en/of verslavingsproblematiek. Met deze award wilt Eos het belang hiervan op een positieve manier onder de aandacht van het grote publiek brengen. De naam is een aandenken aan de man (Paul Ooms) en de vereniging (Studie- en Aktiecentrum voor maatschappelijke welzijnszorg, S.A.W.) die jarenlang geijverd hebben voor zowel studie als actie in deze sector.

The Eos Pipet awards a young, promising researcher active in Flanders. With this award, the science magazine, in cooperation with the Young Academy, wants to bring science and technology to the attention of the general public in a positive way. The eleventh Pipet will be awarded in 2025.
The POWER awards a promising researcher active in Flanders in the field of mental health and/or addiction problems. With this award, Eos wants to bring its importance to the attention of the general public in a positive way. The name is a memento of the man (Paul Ooms) and the association (Studie- en Aktiecentrum voor maatschappelijke welzijnszorg, S.A.W.) who for years have championed both study and action in this sector.
