Om correcte registratie in Biblio te ondersteunen komt het Biblio-team naar je toe!
Het team organiseert de eerste maanden van 2026 op elke campus van UGent een Biblio-training bestaande uit verschillende thematische sessies. Je kan je registreren voor de hele training of ervoor kiezen de aparte delen bij te wonen.
Bovendien organiseert het team spreekuren op de campus voor individuele hulp. Daarvoor hoef je je niet te registreren.
Wat kan je verwachten?
Elke training start met een algemene sessie over de basis en de context van Biblio, in het Nederlands. Daarna volgen FOCUS-trainingen over verschillende topics. De topics variëren van campus tot campus. Deze thematische sessies zijn in het Engels.
De volgende thema’s komen aan bod:
- Biblio MASTER - NL – 1h: een algemene inleiding op Biblio en de registratie in de back office
- Biblio FOCUS - Datasets - EN - 1/2h: uitleg bij de registratie van datasets in Biblio
- Biblio FOCUS - VABB - EN - 1/2h: waarom registratie van publicaties uit de sociale en humane wetenschappen in Biblio belangrijk is in het kader van de VABB-SHW.
- Biblio FOCUS - OA & Biblio - EN - 1/2h: hoe kan je via Biblio open access bereiken?
- Biblio FOCUS - FWO - EN - 1/2h: hoe kan je aan de FWO-vereisten voor publicaties voldoen via Biblio?

Biblio?
Biblio is de Academische Bibliografie van de Universiteit Gent waarin de publicaties en bijhorende datasets van de UGent-onderzoekers worden verzameld. Correcte registratie in Biblio versterkt de zichtbaarheid van UGent-onderzoek, ondersteunt rapportering voor onder meer onderzoeksfondsen en faciliteert open access voor UGent-onderzoek. Bovendien koppelt Biblio publicaties en datasets aan elkaar, aan projecten en onderzoekers.

To support correct registration in Biblio, the Biblio team is coming to you!
In the first few months of 2026, the team will organise a series of Biblio trainings consisting of various thematic sessions on each Ghent University campus. You can register for the entire training course or choose to attend individual parts.
In addition, the team will organise consultation hours on campus for individual assistance. You do not need to register for these.
What can you expect?
Each training session will start with a general session on the basics and context of Biblio, in Dutch. This will be followed by FOCUS training sessions on diverse topics. The topics will vary from campus to campus. These thematic sessions will be in English.
The following themes will be covered:
- Biblio MASTER - NL – 1h: a general introduction to Biblio and registration in the back office
- Biblio FOCUS - Datasets - EN - 1/2h: explanation of the registration of datasets in Biblio
- Biblio FOCUS - VABB - EN - 1/2h: why registering publications from the social sciences and humanities in Biblio is important in the context of the VABB-SHW.
- Biblio FOCUS - OA & Biblio - EN - 1/2h: how can you achieve open access via Biblio?
- Biblio FOCUS - FWO - EN - 1/2h: how can you meet the FWO requirements for publications via Biblio?

Biblio?
Biblio is Ghent University's Academic Bibliography, which collects the publications and associated datasets of Ghent University researchers. Correct registration in Biblio enhances the visibility of Ghent University research, supports reporting for research funds and other purposes, and facilitates open access to Ghent University research. In addition, Biblio links publications and datasets to each other, projects, and researchers.
