[IOF] Equip Oproep 2023 voor uitrusting | Equip Call 2023 for equipment

Met de oproep “Uitrusting voor het uitvoeren van innovatief toegepast wetenschappelijk onderzoek en valorisatie via contractonderzoek en wetenschappelijke dienstverlening voor bedrijven” kan uitrusting aangevraagd worden bij het Industrieel Onderzoeksfonds (IOF). De inbreng vanuit het IOF bedraagt € 25.000 - € 112.500 (BTW incl.). Er is een verplichte cofinanciering van minimum 25% van de uitrusting. De minimale looptijd bedraagt 1 jaar en de maximale looptijd bedraagt 2 jaar.

Deze oproep heeft als specifieke doelstelling om de industriële contractinkomsten te verhogen, en meer specifiek via contractonderzoek alsook wetenschappelijke dienstverlening voor bedrijven. Het EQUIP-projecttype omvat een toegepast wetenschappelijk onderzoeksproject met valorisatiepotentieel richting deze industriële contractinkomsten, dat gevoerd wordt rond de aangeschafte uitrusting.

Hoe aanmelden?

Projectaanvragen dienen aangemeld te worden bij IOF@ugent.be. Bij de aanmelding wordt het ingevulde Equip aanmeldingsdocument mee ingediend (document via onderstaande link of op te vragen via IOF coördinatiecel). Verplichte intake meetings kunnen aangevraagd worden vanaf 10 augustus 2023. Hierbij worden de betrokken stakeholders uitgenodigd (ZAP/onderzoekers, IOF Business Developer, IOF coördinatiecel).

With the call "Equipment for carrying out innovative applied scientific research and valorisation through contract research and scientific services for companies", equipment can be requested from the Industrial Research Fund (IOF). The contribution from the IOF is € 25,000 - € 112,500 (VAT incl.). There is a mandatory co-financing of at least 25% of the equipment. The minimum term is 1 year and the maximum term is 2 years.

This call has the specific objective of increasing industrial contract revenues, and more specifically through contract research as well as scientific services for companies. The EQUIP project type comprises an applied scientific research project with valorisation potential towards this industrial contract revenue, which is conducted around the purchased equipment.

How to sign up?

Project applications must be submitted to IOF@ugent.be. The completed Equip registration document must be submitted with the application (document available via hyperlink below or via IOF coordination unit). Intake meetings can be requested from August 10th, 2023. The stakeholders involved in the Equip project will be invited (senior academic staff/researchers, IOF Business Developer, IOF coordination cell).
