[BIB] Aanvulling Biblio 2020/21 | Call for registration publications 2020/21
We nodigen u vriendelijk uit uw wetenschappelijke publicaties van publicatiejaar 2021 aan te vullen in de academische bibliografie Biblio.
Deadlines
- 15 maart 2022 is de deadline voor invoer van publicaties 2020-2021 die in aanmerking komen voor het Vlaams Academisch Bibliografisch Bestand voor de Sociale en Humane Wetenschappen (VABB-SHW). Artikels die verschijnen in de Emerging Sources Citations Index (ESCI) van Web of Science zijn geen A1 maar kunnen wel voor VABB in aanmerking komen als A2.
- 1 juli 2022 is de deadline voor alle (overige) publicaties van 2020-2021.
Extra mogelijkheden
Via Biblio biedt de UGent vele publicaties in Open Access aan, zodat deze voor iedereen vrij raadpleegbaar zijn. Tracht dus voor elke publicatie steeds een versie op te laden die in Open Access kan worden aangeboden. De Belgische wetgeving staat je als auteur van een wetenschappelijk artikel resulterend uit publiek gefinancierd onderzoek toe om de finale peer reviewed author version, of de zogenaamde author’s accepted manuscript (AAM), na een embargoperiode open te stellen via Biblio.
Daarnaast is het mogelijk en ook aangewezen om je publicaties in Biblio, indien van toepassing, te koppelen aan het bijhorende onderzoeksproject dat in GISMO is opgenomen. Dat maakt het makkelijker om een publicatielijst van het project op te stellen, de publicaties voor dit project te tonen in de research explorer en ook te laten doorstromen naar andere diensten zoals FRIS.

Deadlines
- March 15 2022 is the deadline for registration of publications of 2020-2021 that qualify for the Vlaams Academisch Bibliografisch Bestand for the Social Sciences and Humanities (VABB-SHW). Articles accepted in Emerging Sources Citations Index (ESCI) in Web of Science are not A1 but can be eligible for acceptance in VABB as an A2.
- July 1 2022 is the deadline for any other publication of 2020-2021.
Extra possibilities
Ghent University makes many publications publicly available via Biblio, so that anyone can freely consult them. Try to upload a version of each publication that can be made available in open access. Belgian legislation allows you, as an author of a scientific article resulting from publicly funded research, to make the final peer reviewed version, or the so-called author’s accepted manuscript (AAM), openly accessible via Biblio after an embargo period.
It is also possible and indeed desirable to link your publications in Biblio to the associated research project (if any) as registered in GISMO. That makes it easier to create a publication list of the project, show the publications on the project page of the research explorer and also pass on this information to other services such as FRIS.
