archINFORM is an online database for international architecture, originally emerging from records of interesting building projects from architecture students from the University of Karlsruhe (Germany). It has become a large online database about world-renowned architects and buildings from past to present. The database contains information (including plans and images) about more than 84.000 built and unrealized projects from various architects and planners.

ArchINFORM is a database with open access for everyone. Log in to your UGent-account, search for the database in the UGent-catalogue, click on the link "view online" and you'll have access to archINFORM.

Search tips

Look for a project on the home page with the indices: index of persons, index of locations, index of keywords. For most entries you get the name, address, keywords and information about further literature. Some entries include images, comments, links to other websites or internal links.

At the top right of the homepage you will also find a Google custom search window.
