[EU][HORIZON EUROPE] Circular Bio-based Europe JU Call 2023 is open
The 2022 CBE JU Call for proposals will be launched on 26 April 2026. The call deadline will be 20 September 2023, 17:00 CET.In 2023 CBE JU will welcome project proposals across 18 topics with an indicative budget of 215,5 million euro.
CBE JU is supporting research and innovation activities in the field of sustainable biobased solutions under the umbrella of Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation programme for the 2021-2027 period. By replacing non-renewable fossil resources with waste and sustainably sourced biomass to produce industrial and consumer goods, the bio-based industries will help Europe become the world’s first climate-neutral continent while increasing the sustainability and circularity of production and consumption systems.
CBE JU follows the rules and procedures of Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation propramme.
