Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship
This scheme aims to support outstanding early career scientists who require a flexible working pattern due to personal circumstances, offering a recognised first step into an independent research career.
- Who can apply? Outstanding early career scientists who have, or will have, a need for flexible support due to personal circumstances, including parental responsibilities, caring responsibilities, and/or clinically diagnosed health conditions that create a need for a flexible working pattern. Applicants can be of any nationality.
- Open and closing date: 3 September 2024 – 29 October 2024
Royal Society Wolfson Fellowship and Wolfson Visiting Fellowship
These schemes offer international research leaders the opportunity to be based at a UK university or research institution for five years or 12 months, respectively. The Wolfson Fellowship offers a £300,000 fellowship award to recruit international researchers to UK institutions and the Visiting Fellowship provides a flexible sabbatical period to foster international collaborative links, with an award of up to £125,000.
- Who can apply? Established researchers currently based overseas, of any nationality (see page for more details). Applicants must be nominated by representative of the host institution before they are able to apply.
