The Belgian NCPs (National Contact Points) for ERC are organizing a webinar on the next ERC StG and CoG calls 2024, with speakers from the ERC Executive Agency and testimonials from an ERC Grantee and panel member.

Training webinar organized by NCP Flanders
A training proposal writing on the ERC Starting and Consolidator grants 2024 calls for proposals is organised by NCP Flanders, to support potential researchers and host institutions in the preparation of their ERC Starting and Consolidator grant application at a host institution located in Flanders.
It is advised to potential applicants to also attend the webinar on the call modalities on 7 June 2023 (see above).

The EU-team will organize a webinar consisting of a training by our ERC expert Margo Baele and testimonials from ERC grantees.

ERC call information
The call modalities for the 2024 calls will become available on the Horizon Europe Funding and Tender Portal.
The provisional call dates for the next Starting and Consolidator grants calls under Horizon Europe are as follows:
- Starting Grants: open: 11 July 2023, deadline: 24 October 2023
- Consolidator Grants: open: 12 September 2023, deadline: 12 December 2023.

Calls will be published on the ERC website.
Eligible researchers
The ERC Starting Grant call 2024 is targeting researchers who have successfully defended their first PhD between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2021 (inclusive).
The ERC Consolidator Grant call 2024 is targeting researchers who have successfully defended their first PhD between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2016 (inclusive).
- Please note the eligibility periods can be extended beyond 7 and 12 years for certain situations. More information can be found in the ERC work programme.
