In this seminar, we will look at how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used in clinical trials, focusing on two main areas: improving clinical trial processes and evaluating AI-enhanced medical devices. We will provide an overview of how AI is changing clinical trials, including patient recruitment, data management, predictive analytics, and outcome assessments. Additionally, we will discuss the methods and frameworks used to validate AI-enhanced medical devices in clinical trials. Specific examples will be shared to highlight these advancements.
