Who and what is The Cochrane Collaboration? How can they help you performing your systematic review?

The Cochrane Collaboration aims to promote evidence-informed decision making by producing high quality systematic reviews. In order to comply with methodological standards laid out by the collaboration, review authors must develop specific skills in literature searching, critical appraisal, meta-analysis, interpretation and communication of results.

During this Knowledge 2 Connect seminar, Trudy Bekkering from Cochrane Belgium will explain how the Cochrane Collaboration can assist systematic reviewers in performing and communicating their work. Afterwards, long-time cochrane author, guideline development methodologist, and practicing nephrologist at Ghent University Hospital, Prof. Evi Nagler, will share her insights in how to become a Cochrane collaborator

Guest speakers: Trudy Bekkering (Cochrane Belgium) and Prof. Evi Naghler (Cochrane collaborator at Ghent University hospital)

Venue:  Building K3 at campus UZ Gent [entrance 42] or MS Teams (the exact location or the link to participate in the online event will be sent to you a few days before the meeting)

A sandwich lunch is kindly offered to you when following the seminar on campus
